Raindrops

The pull is pushing

to find its balance

before I leap and

drench the umbrella

you brought to block

the shade.

I see how much it

disappoints when my

true nature shows, so

tell me, please

what raindrops do

when air turns dark

and heavy?

I’m sure you’d prefer

they turn around and

go back where they’re from

so you can eat your lunch

on the lawn the

raindrops grew.
